I'm somewhat amused at the number of people who added me to their friends list seemingly only because I added them to mine.
Anyway, I did the map thing:
create your own visited states map
Did you consider that it might be curiosity about exactly who this is?
Good point, it doesn't exactly give a lot away, does it? :-) I could have created the account myself actually, for all anyone really knows.

What Tom said.
See and my reasoning was something along the lines of "Do I know this person? Well, it seems as though he knows lots of people that I know. Interesting overlap between APhiO, Amatuer Radio, and ABTech. Hmmmm... Tom's added them, wtf?"
I'm not in APhiO, but close :)
I think* I know who this is. (And so I add you to my friends list, because... hey, more weblogs to read is a good thing. And with your newfound freedom from the black hole, you should have a lot of cool stuff to say.)
Also, I add you without having been added to yours. Unless you're pretty quick on the LJ draw.
(Thanks for your help today. You rock.)
*This is for values of "think" equal to, um, I'm 99% sure.
