Went to see Fahrenheit 9/11 this evening. While most of the direct anti-bush arguments didn't impress me [or at least weren't surprising] (association with saudis, corrupt businesses, etc), it did have some really funny one-liners from Bush and his friends. However, I did think it really did well showing viewpoints counter to the war-- especially from soldiers and their families. You don't get so much of that from the more mainstream press, and I think it's an important viewpoint to be heard. Update: I later found this article that seems to be a good compliment to my feelings about the film.
Also spent some time on apartments.com tonight trying to figure out what I want. I think I have a good idea what sort of apartment I'm looking for now, but all the good candidates got rather poor ratings from apartmentratings.com and I'm trying to decide if thats because it seems that mostly people with complaints write reviews (in a random sample of places with a decent number of ratings it was very rare to see one with over 50% recommendations) or because there are actual problems with the places.
Most of this is moot of course because The Company is paying some other company to take me around and show me places next weekend.
