I'm still up at 2:45am, which isn't that common for me.
A few weeks ago I was out at a bookstore with Larry and sarahnade and I picked up a copy of Orson Scott Card's Lost Boys.
Its a book that started out a little strange (it's main character is a Mormon Software Engineer). Got a little strange (most of the characters are pretty disfunctional), and then eventually became downright bizarre and creepy. Reminds me of The Kindom (er, "Riget") in many ways, despite being totally different plots, character sets, and so on.
I just finished it. (I was about 2/3 of the way through at 11pm).
Talk about suspense. Totally different from the Ender series. Chills have been going up and down my spine for the last 2 hours.
Totally recommended. Now I need to figure out if I'm going to be able to sleep.
