|About the In & Out

here). So, in California, for those who aren't aware, they have this wonderful fast food place called "In & Out Burger" (see |
They serve pretty good burgers, and in fact have a "secret menu". The really amusing thing, is the closest one to my house (about 3/4 of the way to my office, along exactly the same road) is right next to a McDonalds.
As far as I can tell, the McDonalds gets about 5% of the business of the In&Out (except possibly at breakfast). Despite the fact that you'll wait up to 15 minutes for your order at In&Out they are constantly full at all hours of the day. (Indeed, today they were over fire capacity (of 70) by about 50% -- and that was just the people inside -- not the people out on the tables).
I'm amused that this chain does so well (this one instance isn't alone -- all the In&Out's I've been to have been very busy). Even when placed right next to a McDonalds... (Of course, the burgers are much much tastier).
